This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the GauDT Survey App

2. Scope and Consent

By installing or using the GauDT Survey App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and to the data-handling practices described below. The app is not intended for users under sixteen (16) years of age. If you disagree with this Policy, please uninstall the app.

3. Information Collected

• Name, email address, or other identifiers used for registration or feedback
• Messages or attachments you send to our support team

• Device information (model, OS version, app build, language settings)
• Usage data (feature access, interaction time, crash logs)

4. Data Collected through Sentiance SDK

GauDT Survey App uses the Sentiance SDK to provide context-aware features such as mobility detection and activity analytics.
Depending on your device and permissions, the SDK may process:

• A pseudonymous Sentiance ID linked to your account (email or login identifier)
• Motion and activity data (e.g., accelerometer, gyroscope)
• Approximate or precise location data only when you allow it
• Device state data (e.g., battery, network type)

All information processed through the SDK is pseudonymized, meaning it cannot directly identify you without additional information held by GauDT Survey App.

5. How Information Is Used

Data is used to:

• Operate and improve app functions and stability
• Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and battery efficiency
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

GauDT Survey App does not sell personal data or use it for marketing.

6. Third-Party Processing and Transfers

GauDT Survey App and Sentiance may share data only with:

• Secure cloud or hosting providers (e.g., AWS)
• Authorized GauDT Survey App or ID&E Group staff for analysis and maintenance
• Legal authorities when required by law

All third parties are contractually bound to handle data confidentially and securely. Cross-border transfers occur only where adequate data-protection safeguards exist.

7. Data Security and Retention

Encryption, access controls, and technical safeguards protect your data. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Uninstalling the app deletes your local Sentiance ID and stops data collection

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can:

• Withdraw consent any time by uninstalling the app
• Disable location permissions in device settings
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your data

9. Children’s Privacy

GauDT Survey App does not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If such information is identified, it is deleted promptly.
